How do we know that the scripture found here and the scriptures of old are the same scriptures?
"The word of our God endures forever." - Isaiah 40:8
Before computers, scripture had to be written down by hand. As the documents aged and deteriorated over time and from being used they would need to be preserved by being copied to new paper. Some have said that maybe the scriptures have changed or been purposefully changed from the scriptures of old.
Not so! People have discovered copies of parts of the Kitab Tawrat that are from as early as 700 B.C. Parts of every book of the Kitab Awal-Jaman save Esther were found in the discovery known as the Dead Sea Scrolls which are from as early as 400-200 B.C. The entire Kitab Awal-Jaman was translated into the Greek language sometime around 300 B.C. It is the same as the Old Testament that we have today.
